- LMSC club membership fees (new club, renewing club) for the upcoming year are set at the SPMS Committee meeting

- October 1st - USMS Club Registration for the upcoming year begins
- October 1st - SPMS & the SPMS Coaches Chair are to make an official call for nominations the first week of October
- October 1st - Contracts for Registrar, Newsletter Editor, Top Ten Recorder, and Swim Meet Services Coordinator take effect in even numbered years (i.e. 2014, 2016, 2018)
- SPMS Board Nominations in odd numbered years (i.e. 2013, 2015, 2017)
- October 15th - USMS Ransom J. Arthur Award Nomination Deadline
